The Alberta Insurance Council has been working for Albertans for
35 years and counting, at no cost to taxpayers. Operations are
wholly industry funded through examination and licensing fees, and
assessments to the insurance industry. The AIC serves to fulfill the
mission of protecting Albertans through the licensing and regulation of
insurance agents, brokers, and independent adjusters.
Project:
2025 Annual Report
Details:
This year’s artwork is inspired by the themes of change, adaptation and future-forward direction.
Using the diamond and circle from the logo, we created a pattern full of transformations and evolutions,
converging together creating an arrow pointing forward on the cover. The different forms created as the
shapes change colour and overlap denote adaptation and change, and are used in varying scales on the
inside spreads for continuity.
Infographics and illustrated pull-quotes are added throughout to draw attention to highlights and noteworthy milestones. A geometric sans serif font compliments a serif font for headings and reflect the
traditional past and modern future.
