Sobeys, the second largest food retailer in Canada, came to Diva with a goal to reduce plastic bag usage in their stores. Diva partnered with a trusted writer to initiate the GR8 Things for the Environment campaign. The GR8 campaign required employees to put an average of 8 items in each bag they pack at the register.
Diva started by designing a clean and effective logo to support the tag line “Doing GR8 things for the environment” and followed the logo with additional graphics that were applied to numerous campaign support materials. The campaign was fun, vibrant and eye-catching. With clean, simple design and clearly communicated messaging the campaign goals were easy to understand and easy for employees and shoppers to support.
