The primary symbol in this logo has multiple meanings: combined letters ‘i’ and ‘L’ for Interlab, a birds eye view or side profile of a lab station, person (upper body and head with extending arm) to indicate individualized plans and personal service. The joining building blocks not only indicate the manufacturing and installation of the labs, but also hint at the many services Interlab provides (consultation, design, products, etc.). The font compliments the strength of the symbol and the font’s simplicity holds a scientific and technical aesthetic. The sky-blue and orange work together to create an innovative and constructive aesthetic. We carried this aesthetic into the design of a new website, and the client was overjoyed with the final outcome.
