Edmonton Chamber of Voluntary Organizations (ECVO) serves nonprofit and charitable organizations in the Alberta Capital Region. ECVO believes that a strong, vibrant community is strengthened by an effective voluntary sector working with government and business. Their goal is to help non-profits run effectively and efficiently through leadership, building capacity and giving voice to issues that impact the ability of the voluntary sector to be effective.
To promote Edmonton’s annual volunteer fair (and volunteering at large) Diva was commissioned to design a number of print, interactive web and social marketing tools to generate support for this worthy cause. Working with a writer to develop key messages, Diva went on to deliver a branded look that can be leveraged for years to come.

ECVO came to us looking for a new design for the organizations annual report. They have typically been keeping their reports short in recent years and opted for a 4-page approach, being highly visual and showcasing short facts and figures rather than lengthy pages of text. The design needed to be easily digestible and portray a feeling of movement, represented in three leading lines crossing the page.
They also wanted to include a companion postcard that matches the report design but focusing on most meaningful highlights. The intention of this report was to distribute to their members ahead of the AGM and include a link to view the full report online.
