Logo and Business Case
Book layout. Branding.
We began this project by developing a logo for the Community Centre at Boyle Street, and took cues from the logo when designing the business case. The inspiration for the business case was taken from the building designs supplied by the architect who drew the concepts of the building. There is plenty of white space with pops of colour and elements hanging past borders and photo edges. Each new section has a title page with a flood of colour, while the text pages include photos at the beginning of the sections and infographics scattered throughout. The business case also features pull quotes and graphics that alternate depending on the content per page.
Logo – When presenting the business case, the Community Centre needed a consolidated identity to represent the project and groups involved. The focus was on support for the indigenous communities that surround the area where the new Centre would serve and wanted the logo to reflect this. A dreamcatcher design was created with the strings inside the circle being created by the aerial view of streets within the neighbourhood.
